WHERE IS STOKE IN AUSTRIA?
We are situated at 1300m directly on the ski piste so guests can ski in
and out of the door. The traditional alpine lodge is in the snow resort of
Verditz in the southern Austrian Alps, close to the borders of Italy and
Slovenia, where guests can ski linked resorts for free. Because of the
hotelâ??s location, guests can hit the slopes before the lifts open and,
effectively, have their own private resort.
SLOPES
Guaranteed snow all winter long, the 3 Country Ski Safari offers something
for all abilities with a free snow park for those who want to freestyle.
The sister resorts of Verditz (Austria) Sella Nevea (Italy) and Bovec
(Slovenia) offer over 100km of piste runs, as well as endless off-piste
opportunities. 14 blue runs, 19 red runs and 6 black. Free night time
flood lit toboggan runs are also available close to the hotel. The
optional day skiing Sella Nevea and Bovec means that you can ski across
the once fortified border from country to another.
SLEEPING
We are situated directly on the piste with spectacular mountain views.
Accommodation is split between the Loft rooms (dorm style with up to 6
beds) and Premium rooms (hotel style with Double, Twin, Triple & Family
rooms available).
EATING & DRINKING
Our buffet Breakfasts are a relaxed affair offering cereals, fruits,
yoghurts, meats, cheeses, fresh breads, fruit juices, tea and coffee.
Dinner is a hearty 3 course meal and normally includes the likes of
traditional roasts, racks of ribs, schnitzels and other culinary delights.
Dietary requirements can be catered for as long as we know in advance.
