San Fermin (Running of the Bulls) is staged in the Basque town of Pamplona on the north-west side of Spain. It is 45 minutes from San Sebastian, 5 hours from Barcelona and Madrid.
The Stoke base for the Running of the Bulls is located on the Zarautz beach, right near San Sebastian. Partying, sleeping and eating by the beach lets us surf, chill out and make the most of the summer weather, whilst still being close to all the action in Pamplona. We have daily buses to the centre of Pamplona. The campsite is rocking...we an on-site bar that goes off and bands of a night.
We do FREE daily pick-ups from San Sebastian at 6pm. The pick-ups are from out the front of the Maria Cristina Hotel, on the riverfront. (Address: Paseo de la Republica Argentina 4).
If you cannot make the pick-up time then you can easily make your own way to our campsite. Go to the ´Eusko tren´ train station located on `Plaza Easo´. Then take the 'euskotren' regional train network to 'San Pelaia' station. Tickets cost 2 euros and trains run every 30 minutes until 9:30pm. When you get off the train walk toward the beach and follow the road up
the hill on the right hand side of the beach. There are signs for the campsite. It is called 'Gran Camping Zarautz'.
If you need any help in finding out how to get to us then email us at info@stoketravel.com.
