San Sebastian was where Stoke (formerly known as Smashed!) was born. A hungover idea of starting a pub crawl in the town evolved into what Stoke is today. Every summer Stoke goes back to its roots, back ´HOME´ to continue the legend.

SURFARI: The Stoke Surfari, Spain, begins in San Sebastian. We pick you up and drop you off in San Seb. See the Surfari Spain section for more details.

BBQ BEACH PARTIES: BBQ in a club overlooking the surf beach, an hour of free beer & sangria, drinking games, sheer madness...a recipe for one of our favourite parties in San Seb.

4TH OF JULY PARTY: The largest of the Stoke parties in San Seb, with Americans wanting to celebrate their national day and Aussies and Kiwis just wanting to get smashed. Just before the beginning of the Running of the Bulls, the atmosphere in town is electric...this party is HUGE.

PUB CRAWLS: The best pub crawl in Europe. Ok, a little bit of bias here, but we genuinely reckon it is. The Stoke crew dress up as nurses & transvestites as we hit the infamous bars of the San Seb Old Town...

TOP 10 THINGS TO DO IN SAN SEB

1) Drink 15 beers and you'll be speaking fluent Basque.(the trippy-est
language in the Northern Hemisphere).
2) Swim to the island (La Perla), put up the flag, conquer it, marvel,
trip over a nude sun bather and... swim home.
3) Get a feed at 3:00am, the only joint open is the toastie vending
machine at the petrol station up the end of the surf beach. Vending
machines were invented in San Sebastian in 1967.
4) Get a feed any other time and stuff your face with delicate delectable
pintxos (local version of tapas). collect the tooth picks holding the
pintxos together and pay at the end.
5) Watch a riot

6) Jump off the bridge and surf the river mouth
7) Semana Grande (huge fireworks and party festival august 9 - 16)
8) Jazz Festival (free concerts on the surf beach (july 22 - 27)
