Pamplona’s San Fermin 2025
The bull run that both Pamplona and San Fermin are infamous for isn’t for everybody – including us – but we won’t stop anybody who wants to try it, or watch it, and make their own mind up on the tradition. What really excites Stoke Travel is the other 23 hours and 55 minutes, when the bulls aren’t running and the city is raging, because the Pamplona San Fermin party is for absolutely everybody. From the first – and biggest – day of the festival on July 5th, street parties, clubs, bars and all kinds of restaurants seem to never stop. There are live bands and DJs in every city square, park and plaza. At night the fireworks go off, and you’ll be celebrating with absolute legends from Pamplona, across Spain and around the world. It really is one of the greatest parties there is.

Your Running of the bulls trip
And we haven’t even mentioned Stoke Travel’s San Fermin Campsite yet, many travellers’ favourite part of the festival. Our grassy, riverside, shaded campsite features a swimming pool and plenty of space to chill out. You’ll meet plenty of new open-minded international friends, and find the perfect environment to chill or party outside of Sanfermines. We’ll also have your tent already erected within our campsite, your bed prepared with a camping mat and sleeping bag ready to be passed out in. Our camp chefs will be serving hot and tasty brunch buffets each morning with unlimited mimosas, so you’ll be set to dance your socks off through the night. And, as always, we have unlimited beer, wine and sangria on offer onsite. Meet us there!
LET’S KEEP THESE GOOD VIBES GOING AT Bilbao BBK Live
This year we’re revisiting one of our favourite events in the Basque region’s calendar – Bilbao BBK Live. Taking place from July 11th – July 13th, with an international lineup of over 60 acts, BBK Live is just a stone’s throw away from Pamplona. `If you’re planning on coming to party with us at San Fermin, you can add on a BBK Live ticket and camping to your – we’ll even provide you with the twin-share tent, camping mats, and sleeping bag for a deposit. Explore our inclusive packages below too, where we can take you from our Bull’s campsite to the BBK Live campsite, and even to our San Sebastian Surf House afterwards.

It’s the first bull run, but also the second day of partying in Pamplona
5:30 am: Pamplona Express Busses will be transporting people to town to prepare for the race, and are available from the ticket booth at the campsite. If you aren’t running with the bulls, you can use the Pamplona Express to go into town throughout the day for parties, concerts and the fireworks displays!
7:00 am: Participants in the bull run need to be in place, ready to run!
*If you are not in your spot by 7:30am, you will be not allowed to run. The first day of the run 50% of participants will get dragged off the track by the police prior to the run, due to overcrowding, so factor 2 bull run mornings into your stay if you’re hoping to run!*
8:00 am: The race begins!
11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Freshly cooked bottomless brunch will be served
1:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Stay at camp and float down the river with a drink in hand. Or hit up the town’s many bars, restaurants, street parties, ceremonies, and concerts.

Daily buses will be transporting people to town to enjoy the San Fermin festival, and are available from the ticket booth at the campsite. You can use this system to go into town throughout the day for the bull run, for the parties, concerts and the fireworks displays.
Pack for all weather, because even though it’s almost always dry and hot, some years we’ve had storms and nights can get chilly. A pillow, even a blow up, can be handy for your tent and a torch too. Maybe some condoms because you never know, and some sunscreen. We sell the traditional red and white outfits (essential) and party shirts (also essential) on site.

Are there shuttles to and from the campsite to Pamplona?
Rate this trip
Yes, the campsite itself runs its own shuttles and you can buy tickets from the ticket booth by the front gates.
Rate this trip
Is the campsite near Pamplona?
Rate this trip
None of the campsites are near Pamplona, in that none are within walking distance, and ours isn’t the closest. You’ll have to take the bus from any campsite into Pamplona, and while our campsite is a little further away, it’s the only one with trees for shade, grassy areas, a river to swim in, a huge pool for pool parties, all night parties, a great bar and good value restaurant. It’s easily the best campsite in the area.

Who do we see when we arrive?
Rate this trip
You can tell the campsite staff that you’re staying with Stoke Travel and they’ll direct you towards us. Check in is between 08:00 and 22:00 every day, and if you have to arrive after hours security will put you in a tent and you can check in in the morning.

What’s the bottomless brunch like?
Rate this trip
It’s going to be the best breakfast you’ll have on your travels. Depending on what the chefs find fresh, there will be a hot and cold breakfast buffet that can include eggs and bacon, omelettes, smashed avocado toast, fruit and cereal, yoghurt, pancakes, and most importantly the all-important bottomless mimosas that we’ll be making with Spanish cava and real orange juice, that will be poured liberally during the bottomless brunch hours.
Rate this trip
What are the tents like?
Rate this trip
They’re tents – they hold your stuff and keep you sheltered when you pass out there in the early hours of the morning. You can stand up in them, unless you’re pretty tall, and are kitted out with camping mats and sleeping bags. Plus we have all the benefits of camping, so we’ll have an awesome common area, music all day and most of the night, and a crowd of the best travellers to hang out with.
Rate this trip
What amenities are available at the campsite?
Rate this trip
Plenty of hot showers, a huge swimming pool with DJ, poolside bar, regular bar that’s open late, campsite parties that almost go all night, a very decent restaurant, a shop selling supplies and a bar that serves food, football pitch, river to swim in, plenty of grass and shade. It’s a real nice campsite.
Rate this trip
What’s the deal with the open bar?
Rate this trip
It’s not too good to be true, it is what it sounds like it is. A bar stocked with beer, wine and Spanish sangria that’s open to you from 10am to 10pm. Drink as much as you want, that’s up to you, just don’t be a jerk, or put yourself in any danger.
Rate this trip
Do the tents have power points and that kind of thing?
Rate this trip
They don’t, for safety reasons, but we do have plenty of charging stations set up around camp where you can charge your gear without any worries. We know how important fully charged up gear is.
Rate this trip
What do you mean by camping?
Rate this trip
Look, we aren’t a 5-star resort. We won’t be able to do wake-up calls, room service, your laundry, etc. What we can do, however, is provide you with tasty meals, the sickest parties, decent basic campsite amenities, and as much booze as you can handle (for only an extra €15 per night). On top of all that, we’ve been coming here for over 15 years, and have figured out all you need to have the best time at San Fermin – a sick fit, transport, balcony views of festivities, all for a small additional cost!

Easy booking process, we received information before arrival. The shuttles were sparse and taxis sometimes hard to get but everything worked out! One thing is that it got pretty cold at night. The atmosphere was amazing! I really loved the people. It was mental!

The booking process was easy, better directions to the site would have been helpful, like where the bus station was located. Also that the bar at the camp site was cash only. But the buses were great! Great energy, fun people, staff was awesome. What I really loved about my stay was the people, the food, good vibes, and the undy run was a blast. You can improve it by having more dance parties. It was a killer!!

The booking process was super easy & plenty of relevant information. Maybe better directions for catching the bus. We ended up using taxi though. The guy who checked me in kept losing his pen so maybe a couple extra pens for him. All jokes aside I thought it was an efficient process. Plus the girls where super cute so I wouldn’t have noticed delays. Everyone was outgoing & an overall great time. What I really love about my stay is all the people I met from around the globe. What you can improve are The buses & more stoke gear in stock for popular sizes. My stay in a few words: No bullshit, every sangria stain was worth it!

Ticked this off the bucket list last year with Stoke and now I’m going back again (surely that says enough). Stoke are an absolute blast, always staff around to help you out, answer questions or pass you another beer. The camp ground rocks, and the whole festival is just so much fun!! BE THERE FOR THE OPENING CEREMONY OMG SO MUCH FUN!!
