Benicassim Music Festival 2017

Benicassim, Spain | 13th - 16th July

Banging Beats at Benicassim Music Festival 2017

Includes a 4 day full Benicassim festival pass, private transport from Barcelona and back, camping accommodation which is situated 5 minutes from the beach (with tent, sleeping bag and mattress provided). Hot and tasty breakfasts served each morning to wake up just a little bit better! Experienced and fun guides and unlimited beer and sangria at the campsite!

Once upon a time, there was a party in a small Spanish town called Benicassim, and Stoke Travel went there on a whim. We were slightly sunstricken (or so was our excuse) watching the headliners with bright lights everywhere, our moves busting out of us like we were experimental geometricians, and everyone watching the shapes we had already packed in anticipation and preparation for this night. Everyone was moving to our set and learning our grooves, and once again we were reminded why our friends and fellow Stokies had been the self-proclaimed monarchy of dance, just the night before.

Only halfway through the set did we realise that those who we thought had been admiring our fantastic physical banter for the last 45 minutes were actually facing away from us and towards the band, while we were dancing at the lights… We’re sure we still had the best time at the festival, who needs to see the bands anyway? We were all pleasantly removed shortly thereafter, but we didn’t let this dampen our spirits. Nope, we stocked up on our free flowing booze and drank them down the beach.

Benicassim 2017 Stoke Travel Style

At Stoke Travel we transform your average stressful, ‘new johnny come lately’ attitude to European festivals. Join us at Benicassim Music Festival 2017 to make our party better, because when we go by ourselves we just end up making friends with the bartender. One of the best festivals is always the one where you needn’t worry for showering, taking naps, snaps and chicken wraps because you’re in a desert, but this one actually has a beach. Year after year this tiny Spanish town takes us degenerates in for a long weekend as we sleep on blow up mattresses in our tents, but also lie on them in the town fountains, on the beaches, on the hills, and on top of crowds as inconvenient beach volleyballs. The festival has a stellar lineup and an excellent Spanish reputation for making you sweat out your sleep from 5am ’til 9am, and then it’s straight down the beach until the music starts again at 4pm.

Camping With Stoke Travel at Benicassim Music Festival

Because we’re super accommodating and want you to feel as comfortable as possible, we’ll have your tents set up with mattresses and sleeping bags rolled out, all ready for you to pass out in when you’ve partied yourself out. Our kitchen staff will be serving up reviving hearty breakfasts and delicious stomach-lining dinners each day, and as always, we’ll have the best party going outside of the party with a bunch of open and like-minded international legends.

  • Benicassim, Spain

Benicassim Festival 2017 is taking place in Benicassim on the east coast of Spain between Valencia and Barcelona.

The town of Benicassim is located on the beaches of Castellón in the Valencian Community. It was named Bani-Kassim by Muslim settlers, literally meaning the sons of the delivery man. It has some 18,000 inhabitants, although that number rises to 40,000 during the tourist season in summer.

The town has some stunning beaches, where golden sand and crystal waters are accompanied by an enviable Mediterranean climate that invites visitors to enjoy the sun and gain insight into the area’s history.

In 1995, the town began hosting one of Europe’s most important music festivals, which greatly added to the popularity of this coastal destination. The FIB (International Festival of Benicassim) has featured many internationally famous artists as well as Spanish indie groups.

The FIB is still going strong today, attracting young people who come from all over the world to see and hear the latest music while enjoying the sun, the beach, and a free camping area right next to the concert venues.
